When most people think about core strength, they think of doing endless bodyweight abdominal exercises like crunches, sit ups, leg raises.
However, the plank, and its many variations are excellent for core strength and core stabilization.
These ab exercises may look easy on the video, but they are surprisingly challenging and great additions to your core workout.
Obviously, these are only a few of the variations you can use to improve core strength... but it should serve to open you mind up to the extensive opportunities you have to improve your mid-section with bodyweight exercises.
