Building Muscle Without Weights Is The Starting Point Of Body Transformation!
Start your bodily transformation from soft and flabby to hard and toned by building muscle without weights.
So, you’ve been sitting on the couch watching T.V. for a couple of years and then one day you get a good look at yourself in the mirror... and you’re shocked at what you see!
Or, you’ve noticed that even the most basic of tasks requires enormous effort on your part... and leaves you huffing and puffing and your heart pounding out of your chest.
So you decide it’s time to “get in shape” and build muscle.
The first thing that hits your mind is lifting weights or joining a gym with all those fancy, chrome machines.
But wait a minute... you’ve missed a step!
What about getting in shape and building muscle without weights?
Unless you can effectively control, move and stabilize your own bodyweight... you shouldn’t use added weight, PERIOD!
Bodyweight calisthenics have been used for centuries to build strong, lean, athletic physiques.
All types of athletes, military personnel and anyone who wants a body that performs as good as it looks uses bodyweight calisthenics for building muscle without weights and improving all-around fitness... and you should too!
Is Building Muscle Without Weights Even Possible?
In order to build muscle, you must introduce your muscles to a stimulus greater than normal.
Your body will adapt to this greater stimulus by making bodily changes in order to handle this greater stimulus easier in the future... by building muscle, improving recovery, improving heart and lung function, etc.
One way to introduce this greater stimulus is by lifting weights... but your first step should be building muscle without weights.
You must first become accustomed to moving your own bodyweight before you add resistance!
Yea, I know... you want to build muscle fast and use the “best” equipment, etc.
But, you wouldn’t learn to drive by jumping into a Formula 1 race car... would you?
Building muscle without weights and improving overall fitness through bodyweight exercise is not only possible... it is the logical starting point for bodily transformation.
And in many cases... building muscle without weights is BETTER than weighted resistance!
Let’s Look At An Example...
Let’s say you are one of those people who haven’t done any physical activity for a while... your soft, flabby and weak.
You think building muscle without weights is inferior to weight lifting... so you spend a bunch of your hard earned money and join a gym instead of starting a progressive bodyweight calisthenics program in the comfort of your own home.
In the gym, you are prescribed a workout routine consisting of weights MUCH LESS than the resistance your own body would provide!
That’s right, the weights used to build muscle are LESS than the resistance of your own bodyweight... and less resistance means less muscle!
In this case, you would be much better off building muscle without weights because it would force you to perform the exercises against a resistance GREATER than what you would use if you used weights!
Now, I’m not saying you should never use weights... you should.
What I’m saying is you should start building muscle without weights using bodyweight calisthenics exercises until you are proficient at moving your bodyweight around... and then introduce weighted resistance when you need to use MORE weight than you bodyweight provides for further improvement!
Use your own bodyweight to build muscle without weights FIRST... and then make further progress by moving on to weighted resistance.
You already have all the equipment you need to start your body transformation... your own body!
So, get up off the couch and start building muscle without weights today!
